Your host - Ollie

BBC Introducing in Essex is hosted by local boy Ollie every Friday night. It is part of a national initiative that promotes new, unsigned, undiscovered and under the radar music encompassing over 40 shows across local and national radio stations such as BBC Radio One and BBC 6Music. 20 year old Ollie went to Belfair's High School and started at BBC Essex in 2007 as one of the youngest ever presenters to host his own show. Following an interview on the breakfast show, BBC bosses were so impressed they offered Ollie his own slot - a rarity in BBC radio!

Nav Oojageer

Nav started his basketball career playing netball with the girls in primary school. Despite being laughed at by his classmates he went on to represent the United Kingdom at the age of 22. It was this type of dedication and discipline that got him to where he is today.

Through making the right choices and putting in the extra training he was able to avoid the pressures of taking performance enhancing drugs from his peers and went on to represent his nation at the sport he loved.
